"Moscow Riichi Open Championship" using EMA rules will be held on February 15, 2014 by Russian Reach Mahjong League and cultural centre «Japan House» with the support of Mahjong Federation.
All members of the League took part in the Second Russian Reach Mahjong Championship which was held on 7-8 December in Moscow. Our congratulations to Vladimir Bogdanov who became the winner of the event and the new Russian champion. We present the results of first three players and of all the professionals of the League:

The tournament gathered 72 players — the record number for Russian mahjong events. All the members of the League showed great game and ended in the first third of the ranking table.

Organizers decided not to announce country results. We've counted these results ourselves:

Konstantin Ermakov — 3rd place, Vladimir Bogdanov — 8th place, Ilya Monakov — 13th place and Nikita Tkachenko — 22nd place. All professionals showed their skill and finished the tournament with average place above 2,5 after 8 playing sessions.

The first game for professionals of the League with the leader of Moscow amateur rating Nikita Perov took place on November 16, 2012. Nikita finished in the last place with 11100 points, the winner was Konstantin Ermakov with 40200 points. You can find detailed results and paifu below.
We have already posted a full list of exam questions (pdf — 293 Kb). Now all answers are available too, so everyone could estimate their skills. We remind you that applicants should answer the requirements of the League and that the exam task will be different next time.
